Bill is an experienced skipper, with extensive knowledge of the inner Moray Firth, and has been offshore with ROVs since 1994 and a qualified ROV Supervisor, previously working for SubSea7, Oceaneering and SonSub, with operations including rig support, pipeline survey, construction operations, and projects to the West of Shetland. Bill maintains active contact with the offshore ROV industry.
Bill is a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with a commercial endorsement. He has 15 years offshore experience both in the Oil and Gas industry and in general workboat activities. His experience covers all technical aspects of ROV operation and maintenance, nearshore survey and workboat operations, buoyage emplacement, search and recovery, ROV inspection and non-commercial diving.
Previous to working offshore, Bill has been employed as an airborne operator on Nimrod Maritime Patrol aircraft, based at Kinloss, where his extensive training in electronics and acoustics was acquired.
Col joins us straight from Moray Diving Ltd.
With many years of experience he has taken out countless divers, anglers and wildlife enthusiasts to various destinations mainly with in the Moray Firth area.
He has also been involved in many of our commercial, survey and ROV operations.
Amongst his qualifications are- skipper with commercial endorsement, scuba diving instructor and advanced Trimix diver.
Col is committed in successfully getting the job done and regards customer care and satisfaction a must. This is reinforced by Col's commitment to further training for the good of the customer.
Stu has recently left the Royal Air Force after serving as a Crew Chief on the Nimrod Maritime Patrol Aircraft. He joins Moray Firth Marine after working for Bill on various other projects.
Stu is a RYA Advanced Power Boat Coxswain with a commercial endorsement from the Maritime & Coastguard Agency to skipper workboats up to 24m in category 3 areas. He is certified for crane use.
Also a qualified SCUBA instructor, Stu holds a commercial diver qualification (HSE commercial Air Diver). He has spent many hours diving in the Moray Firth and other cold waters.

Richard is a qualified sports diver and met Bill diving in the Moray Firth. He has spent over 5 years sailing on oil tankers in the Merchant Navy as a deckhand before moving offshore. Here Richard carried out inspections on lifting equipment including cranes, winches and ROV systems.
Richard holds various other qualifications which include; NSL lifting equipment inspector.
